Hugs Across the County was formed to help the thousands of children in need who attend our public schools through classroom support, one-on-one mentoring, and contributions of clothing, school supplies and food so that these great kids can focus on learning. Volunteers always welcome! All you need is a St Johns County Public School security clearance, and lots of enthusiasm! Volunteers range from college students to retirees, days and times are very flexible! Help with reading in a classroom; mentor an at-risk child at lunchtime; gather clothing, school supplies and other basics for kids in need!
